Video sales have dropped off recently, so for an Xmas special I'm selling them for 6.50 till the end of the year then after that I'm taking them off the site. Will try to get Dan's Comp to buy a bunch of them hopefully, then if people need them they can get them from there. You'll get the new Pawoods shovel sticker with the video as pictured below. Big thanks to everyone who purchased a video thou, it really helps out. Ray's weekend is definitely going on January 9th and 10, will be there selling videos and shirts and some of the proceeds for admission to the park go to us. If you have never been there I suggest you check out the website where you can get a taste of what it looks like. Ive never been there before but cant wait to go, everyone you talk to says its the best place you can ride a bike indoors. well merry holidays and all that stuff, see ya next year...

Couple photos from skatepark session last night..

Tomorrow night one year anniversary of Axelrad so come out of the freezing winter to see everyone. Another Dust zine will be revealed and will be selling Catty woods dvds if you haven't got one yet. I think we are set on January 9th and 10th for the Catty Woods Ray's weekend, so mark your calendars for that, should be sweet I heard its awesome their this year.

It's snowing yet again, winter hibernation is setting in for a lot of people. I thought I would dwell on the subject of shovels for a little bit. Basically without shovels you can not build trails, everyone who builds trails has their favorite shovel. It seems every year shovels get worse and worse as they don't last long, you buy a shovel a month later its broken or the metal is cracked. Are we using them that hard or are products just being made cheaper and cheaper every year. You can go with the always trusty wooded handle shovel, but they seem to snap like a twig after a month of use. Then for awhile it seemed as if fiberglass shovels were the way to go, but this year I swear every fiberglass shovel just shattered after about 2 months of use. It would be nice if some company catered to making shovels for the trail builder but I don't see that happening unless a bike company decides to do it. After all the years of building trails its crazy how picky you can be with a shovel, without the right shape it seems hard to work with. Bronco flat shovels seem to be a shovel of choice, really light, perfect shape and the cheapest shovel out there. Personally the heavier the shovel is the hardest it is to shape jumps, which makes you think shovels are like bikes the lighter the better. Maybe sometime this spring will do a shovel test with a bunch of different shovels to give everyone a better idea on what shovels to get. It all comes down to personal preference thou. now we just need to wait till the ground thaws and we can dig again, hopefully this winter is a short one and will all be smacking those lips with flats..

So Robbo and Pete have been selling the Pawoods dvds in England, well Pete took some to the Case magazine launch party or whatever. He had about 16 or 17 in a bag and he takes his eyes off them for a second and someone steals the whole bag. Wow I didnt know people could really sink to that low, you basically stole dvds that support the trails and what not. So if anyone knows anything about this situation that would be great, you can keep it anonymous in the comments, we just want the dvds back. And if you buy a dvd off someone other then Robbo or Pete then you know that's the guy who took them. Thanks to those guys for selling the dvds thou, otherwise they have been selling real good. Yes it snowed as well here, winter is definitely here now......

Went to Hackettstown Skatepark the other night and its rad to see that place still around and always changing. The new set up is pretty good the photo below kind of gives you a good view of how it is now.

I think the extended trail season is over, weather is definitely getting colder and sicker which sucks. I guess it's skatepark season now if your into that, PennSkate has had the little devil bowl for a year now and its almost ready to ride, wow. We are looking into doing a Catty Woods Ray's weekend so stay tuned for that. Thanks to everyone who has been buying DVDs they have been selling real well in England.
