It's on, tomorrow weather is supposed to be nice. Come out early as I just found daylight ending begins so we lose an hour of light dammit. Raffles prizes gonna be at 4, then long jump right after that. Bring cash money ya ya ya.,, oh yeah its halloween boys....
I give up on checking the weather it changes every hour it seems, and they were way wrong this week when it rained for 2 days straight when they called for sunny skies. The jam is definitely going down Sunday, we spent all day today raking leafs and drying stuff out. Action Wheels hooked us up with some gift certificates for the raffle. Big thanks to them, seems like everyone is down for helping out the cause which is great and no need for people to get mad about helping us out. We definitely have a ton of things to give away so you probably wont leave empty handed. Will also have Ben shirts for sale so bring extra money... see u sunday
Once again out of nowhere it is raining, the whole week was supposed to be nice now looks like rain till Thursday. I dont think its possible to plan a jam ahead of time and it ever to work out nice. There's no chance of rain Sunday but will definitely need a lot of help getting the trails ready with all this rain now, come out Saturday to lend a hand and bring a raincoat since they are calling for rain that day. Just uploaded the autumn sessions part 2 video to get everyone psyched for the jam and hopefully get people to help get the trails running like they are in the video..
Tarps might be the best invention this decade, well for the trails. With all this rain we been getting the trails have still been good because of the tarps. The forecast for Sunday looks iffy, 30 percent chance of rain, should be good thou, definitely come out regardless because of the raffle. Just in case you don't know, no alcohol allowed at the trails either, you can do your drinking Friday and Saturday night. Also a prize for best costume and we have been thinking about doing a find the bike part in the leaf pile for 1 dollar. Panamoka jam went down yesterday big thanks to those guys for helping with the fund raising cause.
Weather got rad again, cant beat 70 degree autumn days. As for this weekend they are calling for rain again, so Panamoka is trying to have the jam Sunday now, lets hope its good then. Caleb is off back to New Zealand this week, he built a nice little extension run here's a photo.. cheers to him
This is wild looking..
Seatpost patrol was out the other day, guess whose is who
It's still raining, going on 4 days of rain now, weather is supposed to turnaround tomorrow thou lets hop so. Here are some photos
Here's what some of the prize packages are looking like for the jam on the 1st
As for the jam please try to print the waiver out beforehand and bring it down, you must have brakes on your bike and helmets for the long jump competition.
Weather has gone to pure crap now, jam at Panamoka is delayed till next weekend, there is actually a Coastal Flood watch. Next week weather is forecasted to go back to normal, its way to early for snow. Let's hope the weather is good for the jam on the 1st, so stay tuned for updates. Way too many rad vids on the web now, check this below.
Jam at Ted's was awesome, a lot of people turned up and we made some decent money for the trails, thanks to everyone who came out especially Ted who let the whole thing happen. The cement berm in the middle of the run was so smooth and just felt rad carving fast. Might have to cement some berms next year...here's a few photos from the day..
Here is the final flyer for the jam on the 1st, I dont think anymore companies are sending stuff but we have a ton of stuff to raffle off. The one package might be worth more then a thousand dollars, so definitely try to make it out and buy some tickets if you really want some good product and help the trails out.
The weather looks good for the weekend, so the jam at Ted's house on Sunday should be sweet, if you need directions email me should be a good time.
Really fun session at Dale's the other night, really psyched on taking photos with the the light setup they have. I wish all trails could get lit up like it, check it out and Dunny getting wild..
Here are photos of all the products we got so far, so you know we got a lot of stuff for the raffle.
Rain is predicted next weekend, hopefully it doesn't for the jam down at Ted's, stay tuned for more updates on that.
